This year, we took a little weekend trip over Easter weekend. We took the girls to a U-Pick strawberry patch to pick their own strawberries. The berries were a popular event, so we had to be there at 9 a.m. when the orchard opened to be sure to get a good pick! That meant leaving home early Sat. morning to arrive on time. We stayed in Fredericksburg for the night so that we could enjoy some shopping downtown and a hike in a park. It was exciting to find a little patch of bluebonnets to take a few pictures too!!
